Cameron Kelly Law focuses on estate and business planning.
At an estate level, planning starts with young families putting their first estate plan in place and naming a guardian for their children, and extends to elderly clients wanting to leave a legacy or put their family at ease. Complex planning can include dealing with projected estate and income tax consequences, asset protection, structuring distributions, addressing special needs beneficiaries, and charitable planning. Each person’s needs are different, and your plan will address your needs specifically. Whenever it is appropriate, Cameron takes a team approach to estate planning issues. Working with your financial planner or CPA up front can often help to avoid problems later.
Business planning starts with your vision. It is rewarding to be one of the first people to hear that vision, and to help plan for its implementation. New business owners commonly have questions about business formation, choosing an entity, tax elections and financing. As the business grows, the important issues shift to compliance, contracts, and employment issues. From startup to succession, Cameron enjoys working with business clients and their advisors to keep their businesses running smoothly.
Cameron is also certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Real Property Specialist. Cameron has worked with real estate clients for more than a decade, and this experience is commonly utilized in both his business and estate planning.
